Cure for a Loose Tremolo Arm?

My Ibanez RG3120 has a Lo-Pro bridge with a tremolo arm that is a push-in/pull-out. There is no screw in mechanism and no way to loosen or tighten it. The arm is way too loose for my taste...I don't like it flopping around. I would much rather have it stay put.

The arm itself has two plastic bushings on it to help make it fit tighter, but they don't help much. I've tried wedging little pieces of paper inside the bushings and I've tried adding clear nail polish to thicken it up and make it feel tighter. Nothing I've tried seems to keep tight for longer than an hour or two.

Doesn't anyone have a solution that works? Is there a way to buy a replacement tremolo arm that has some kind of tightening mechanism on it?

As it's not a threaded tremolo bar like the strats...

i would replace plastic bushings with neoprene "O rings"

like the one they sell in plumbing supplies

They will stick more to the edges then the plastic one and you can buy them in all diameter/thickness.

Bring tremolo bar to store to have correct diameter.
