After removing the neck it looks like the body is 3 piece. It appears that the the center piece looks like Ash and the 2 wings look like Maple. I always thought that the Peavey Predators bodies were made out of Popular??? Since when did Peavey use a premium tone wood like Ash? BTW the neck is a nice G&L style 2 piece maple. The bottom half of the neck is looks like Tiger maple and the upper half is plain everyday Maple. Okay, who stole the upper Tiger Maple half of my neck. 'Fess up now! Any info is much appreciated. Members telesan Posted February 26, 2006 Author Members Share Posted February 26, 2006 I searched before my original post and found out that Peavey Predators had bodies of Popular, Alder, and Popular with Maple wings. The only Ash that I've found was used in Reactor Ax's. The center block on the '93 Predator that I'm working on sure looks like Ash and the side wings maple....
