Members J.B. Lee
Tokai has one and they really did it right. Only $400 too http://www.jsdguitarshack.com/tokai_tele_rosie.htmlPosted in this thread:http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=1245173Granted, it's only a veneer with a stained maple neck, but it sure looks the part. The Fender reissue had a white maple neck back there! For shame Fender
Members Raths
That TOKAI isn't a bad looking instrument at all. L8R Raths

It maybe that my ratty old MIJ Tele may meet with a veneering expreiment. It's undergone just about every other experimnet I've conducted:D

Members nevermind
Back around 86 I bought a MIJ rosewood tele that looked just like Georges. It even has the stripe of lighter wood in the center of the edge. It has been retired because it needs refretted and was getting too beat up (has sentimental value beyond it's worth). Anyway, they come up on ebay from time to time, and go for about half of what the custom shop version brings. Edit: A quick search of ebay turned this one up:'85 MIJ Rosewood Tele
