  • [Audio Clips] Telecaster Guitar Sound: Review

    Hello folks,

I spent a few hours this afternoon recording a crunchy overdrive telecaster sound as I like to play it. This might be useful to somebody who is thinking about a tele and what it can do...?

Anyway follow the link to read some of my thoughts, conclusion and hear some rock and roll!

    Cheers, Dan.

    Very nice!!

Certainly shows how versatile a sound you can get out of a tele.

This is the tone I like.

Done using Toneport on a Gearbox tone called Tele' Master.

I know it's right cause Danny Gatton gave it to me hisself!!

It's on my Nashville tele bridge pickup and it's where the rubber meets the road. From my perspective it's a fat in your face squawk that rawks, not an ice pick. If you don't like this tone then a tele ain't the one for you!!

      Hey,

I couldn't get that file to load? Do you have an mp3 version? Quite interested to hear it.

      Dan.

Not to say yours sounds bad, but if that's "good" then I think my squier with Texas Specials qualifies as "not bad".

Thanks for sharing that, clips rock.
