Members LaXu
The necks on my guitars reach lightspeed. I sometimes get to the end of the universe and Einstein is jamming there with Jimi Hendrix.

Members axe2 2001
I Just put together a Jackson Fusion. Thin neck like a Soloist but 24 3/4 scale, it's so fast that I shred.... even though i'm not a shredder!
Members Ibanezman06
Ibanez prestige/jem/j custom yupyou'll like the RG's as far as prestigue guitars. if by fast you mean thin, their as thin as it gets along with JEMs and j-customs.
Members darkest_fugue
i can play fast on almost any neck as long as the action is low, fat thin it doesnt really matter to me, i do like short scale necks a little more though and i like wide necks, i dont like that e string slipping off the edge
Members dewees
Thin or chunky? I play faster on thinner necks. I like the Axis assymetrical neck a lot.
Members Burgess
Trick question... But of course the electric with the fastest neck happens to be the one being played by the player with the fastest fingers.
Members dimmypage
this is all a matter of what feels comfortable to you. It like saying I run faster in size 10 shoes than I do in 12s

Members Big Muff
Although there is no such thing as a "fast" neck, I'll say Ibanez Jem.

Members metallica_00
I think to an extent a neck can be "faster". I can play faster on my Ibanez with the original Wizard neck than my G&L - and I think the flatter fretboard and huge frets have as much to do with it as the thinner neck profile does. I think most players will be a bit faster on a thin 16" radius neck with jumbos than a vintage 7 1/2" radius neck with tiny frets and a baseball bat profile. I don't dislike big necks or vintage radii and frets - certainly great for chording and my G&L has a thick neck which I like the feel of. But if you're talking lead speed, the "shreddier" necks do exist for a reason.
Members Reuben
I agree its the player and not the guitar. I think the Ernie Ball Musicman JPM has a great neck for fast playing. But then Danny Gatton never had a problem not playing a shred guitar now did he?
Members e5bowman
The Parker Flys have a neck which is conducive to fast playing - they are really thin, have a smooth composite fretboard, and slick stainless frets. The only thing that might hang things up (if it's not too thin for you - it was for me) is the painted neck...but since it has a layer of composite all along the back of the guitar, there's not really any way out of that. Having said that, as the others said, it's what fits you - but if you find one, give it a whirl.
