'60s Ric. 1/4 inch narrower at the 12th fret, very thin.

The necks on my guitars reach lightspeed. I sometimes get to the end of the universe and Einstein is jamming there with Jimi Hendrix.

I Just put together a Jackson Fusion. Thin neck like a Soloist but 24 3/4 scale, it's so fast that I shred.... even though i'm not a shredder!

                      yup
you'll like the RG's as far as prestigue guitars. if by fast you mean thin, their as thin as it gets along with JEMs and j-customs.
                      Peace

i can play fast on almost any neck as long as the action is low, fat thin it doesnt really matter to me, i do like short scale necks a little more though and i like wide necks, i dont like that e string slipping off the edge

                          Thin or chunky?

I play faster on thinner necks. I like the Axis assymetrical neck a lot.

                            Trick question...

But of course the electric with the fastest neck happens to be the one being played by the player with the fastest fingers.

this is all a matter of what feels comfortable to you.

It like saying I run faster in size 10 shoes than I do in 12s
