Marty Willson-Piper of The Church and his Rickenbackers > all other videos posted in this thread. No disrespect to Harrison and company, but Marty really pulls out all the stops and proves traditional semi-hollow Ricks aren't just for jingle-jangle and can stand up to abuse.

Allright, the ric can do a lot of things. No question about it.

 

But, I don't think that it is a good tool for distortion. Not for me.

 

I love them and I started the thread because I am thinking of buying one.

 

I know, go out and play one. Problem is, I have never come across one. At least, not while I was on the look out for one.
