Members Stspider
Jesus Christ..who could possibly play that thing on stage? If I'd ever come across one that is an OUTSTANDING guitar, I'd make sure to spray paint it black ASAP
Members Highway_61
Well, a posthumous signature guitar is more a tribute than it is a signature, so I guess whoever designed this wanted Bolin to be memorialized in this way. I personally think the guitar looks pretty nice. I like the Teaser inlay, the lack of pickguard, and the graphics. If I were a Bolin fan and a Strat player, I would want one. Members bryvincent
Is it considered douchebaggery to play your own sig model with your own picture on it? that would be impossible w/ the Tommy guitar.
Members sbeirnes
Is it considered douchebaggery to play your own sig model with your own picture on it? Being as Bolin died in '76, I don't think there's much of a chance of Tommy being seen on stage with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uO3l8pdOjsA&feature=channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpluKxftc6w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsRkBokQH2E

Members Highway_61
I know I'll catch some flack for this, but... I vote for this one, too--and it really is a signature guitar. Just a wonderful sense of aesthetics and imagination.

Members SuproSuper Man
i think the Bo Diddley guitar is more of a statement in that an electric guitar is basically nothing more than a block of wood with a neck attached to it,,, Its how you play that block of wood that really counts in the end... i like it cause to me in a way its kinda defiantly giving the finger to all the snobbery of the instrument making industry... Members JIMIRAYKING
The late great Tommy Bolin was one of the greatest guitarists to ever grace the planet earth. Like Hendrix his guitar was an extension of his beautiful soul. The Dean Teaser was not intended as "signature"model but as was stated a "tribute "to Tommy. There is a difference... Personally I think Tommy was a great looking guy and to have his picture on the guitar certainly is not even close to "the worst looking". There are hundreds of truly hideous guitars out there but different strokes for different folks, and one mans trash is anothers treasure. I have had the pleasure of playing several and they are extremely well built, exceptional sounding and playing instruments. DONT LET YOUR MIND POST TOASTEE !
