Hondo II = todays Jay Turser. I had an SG by Hondo II. I really thought it was cool because the side of the guitar showed all these levels of wood.... Oh, is THAT what a laminate is?(lol) Sure was!

Hondo is/was a brand of today's Cort, along with Samick, Jay Turser, etc. Cort is the latest name for the company setup by Jack Wiesberger [sp?] that was best known for the Tiesco brand in the 60's. Cort today is one of the largest OEM makers of MI. Any instrument that says made in Indonesia is made by Cort.
