Members bsman
It has been rumored that no "les" a star than Lester himself uses a Tech 21 Trademark 60 live. I'll try to verify.

Members Burgess
^^Part of his contract. He doesn't travel with an amp. The venue is supposed to have an amp there for him and word is he prefers SS. Shouldn't be a surprise, many clean players do as well.

Members tiltsta
I saw Buddy Guy live several years ago, and he was using a Fender cyber twin. I guess that is more of a hybrid than a strictly SS amp.
Members noisebloom
Alex Lifeson has used more than one SS amp in the past.
Members DonK
B.B. King used Gibson Lab series amps for quite awhile. Alan Holdsworth often used a pair of Yamaha DG 80 modeling amps.

Didn't he use an Acoustic brand SS amp? I had a music store salesman try to pedal one of those to me in the early 70's (along with a Gibson L6S instead of a Les Paul) because "Santana uses them." Members HELSTRUME
Lots. Tons of people were listed in a thread in amps. People from Korn and Dave mustaine for ex. used Line 6.

I remember those little Polytone combos used to be a jazzer favorite. Wasn't unusual to see a Roland JC-120 on the bandstand back in the day. Members tim gueguen
I read an interview with Andy Summers once where he stated he didn't know where that rumour came from and that he didn't particularly like the sound of the Roland amps. According to himself in that interview he mostly used his Marshall amp. It might have something to do with him being seen with JC120s in places like Danny Quatrochi's Police photo book, although it could be he used them to amplify the synth section of his GR300. Robert Fripp also used JC's with King Crimson in the '80s. His current guitar rig contains no guitar amps, and he's long been a user of the Roland GP100. Allan Holdsworth used Hartley Thompson solid state amps in the early '80s. Holdsworth, David Torn, and Ronnie Montrose were all Pearce users in the late '80s. Pat Metheny's amp of choice for the first part of his career was an Acoustic 134.
