Members Promit
Do you KNOW any AC/DC tracks with a wah? (I'm not a big fan, so I honestly don't know.)
Members Armchair Bronco
Not only does Angus got straight in to his Marshall but so does Malcolm.

Members tiltsta
Here is an interview with his guitar tech. Apparently, he uses no effects at all. See page 2. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/document?doc_id=92644

Members LesPaulCustom79
Angus uses late 70's Marshall JMP MkII 2203 100w amps with the gain turned all the way up for large concerts with following settings: Presence = 5 Bass = 10 Mids = 4 Treble = 8 Gain = 6 or 7 Volumn = 7 to 10 Note: The HB Pickups in his SG's are overwound with smaller gauge vintage wire and hot as {censored}!!! Malcolm sometimes uses the same late 70's Marshall JMP MkII 2203's and sometimes uses 70's Marshall JMP Super Lead 100's (4) inputs with no Master. The pickups on "The Beast", 1964 Gretsch Jet Double Cutaway, are also overwound and the magnets dipped in wax to help prevent feedback. Members backtoblue
Here is an interview with his guitar tech. Apparently, he uses no effects at all. See page 2. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/document?doc_id=92644 It's amazing that this interview takes 3 pages. This is how it should have been written: musician.com: "So, what gear does Angus use?" tech: "What do you think?" musician.com: "Uh, SGs and Marshalls?" tech: "Yep." Members Crisco
The only effect I ever heard was the intro to 'Don't talk To Strangers'. The bass is put through some sort of effect.
Members 3th3r
Seriously this is common knowledge. Like... the sky is blue, rock n roll will never die, and Angus and Malcolm ALWAYS plug straight in.

Members McHale
AC/DC has always been straight into the amp. what rock have you been under? +1 I have a book around here somewhere where he talks about having a closet full of effects and every once in a great while he pulls some out and toys with them then throws them back in because he remembers again why he hates them. -Mc
