However, I'd play both and see what you really like. Always good advice to try different things. I would add that, in my opinion, a Dot is physically much closer to a 335. The Sheraton II is bigger, heavier, and feels less resonant to me - I assume due to heavier construction and the maple neck. A good one is a nice guitar, but a bit different from a 335. The Sheraton was the one I kept and my favorite. The Dot is probably the closest, but it isn't the best. I found a good one and probably should have kept it, but it wasn't amazing. The Casino is a completely different beast with the trapezoid tailpiece and P90's. The neck on the Casino is also very small. The Sheraton is almost exactly like the Dot was (same neck and body size), but it had a little better fit and finish. It's got gold hardware which I hate with a passion. It's a great playing guitar and I find that it resonates and sounds better than the Dot I had. But this is going to vary from guitar to guitar. But what I did notice is that the Casino was great from the get go. It's got it's own vibe going and didn't need a single thing changed. Both the Dot and Sheraton weren't great until I put in some 57 Classics; then it was all over. The stock Epiphone humbuckers hold these guitars back big time. The Casino did hum a lot (which is just part of the P90 thing). All three are good guitars and if I was buying again I'd probably look for a good playing Dot and swap the pickups if price was a concern. If money wasn't an issue it'd be the Sheraton with a pickup swap. If I had money to burn it'd be the Sheraton and the Casino just because they are both great guitars.
