Members hethaerto4
I'v always wondered what one would look like.I love the routing of the horns on my SG, all SG's, but the guitar is just a flat plank. What'cha think?
Members Dogsinotpalc
Back when Robin guitars were made by or from Tokai parts, they had a carved figured maple top SG with 24 frets and binding. They were sweet, but are said to be permantly out of production (for the better part of the last two decades). Click here to get a look at one of these bad boys. I used to covet this guitar, but I was never able to find a dealer that had them...then they were discontinued.

I think.
Members GAS Man
All Yamaha SGs are carved top, but then they sound like an LP and not an SG. Because they be thick! I got one.

Members lenduffy
Ampeg used to make the "Stud" which had a nicely carved top...I used to own one in Cherry, and still would except you have limited upper register access...

Members Panopticon
Les is awesome. Great builder and an extremely nice and helpful fella. www.godfreybass.com He primarily makes basses, but he has made a few guitars, as well. The model pictured in about $2600.
