          not a jazz III.

$20 - and they are well worth it. The cheapest way to improve your tone imo

I have 10 of them - not because I bought them myself, but because my wife was clever enough to get them for me 2 years ago for our 5th wedding anniversary. She got me 2 little Jazzers, 3 Classics, 3 Classic IIs, and 2 of their extra wide picks. They are all really, really good. I have since ordered 2 of their indestructible picks which are a relatively affordable $10 each.

I use the black 1.0 or 1.14mm Tortex Jazz picks... which are inarguably superior to standard Jazz IIIs.

Sorry... you obviously fail at pick selection, guitar playing and life in general.

                    I'm a huge fan of V-Picks now.

The "Dimension" is excellent. Yeah, it's pricey, but it's also 4.1mm thick, has an extremely functional beveled edge and is just easy as hell to play with.

I use any picks I can find, or just my fingers. It doesn't change how I play.
