Frets99
Fellow forumite, Milosch has contributed some home grown BT's for our enjoyment!! I'm a Survivor!Hot n sultry I'm a survivor is basically a G major/E minor joint. Step awayKind of an easy southern rock flavor Stepaway is basically a D major key with some variations in the middle. Feel free to continue posting in prior threads, or even posting from prior threads here as the prior threads rise and get buried. We don't all always see a prior one. If anyone would like to take a shot at hosting the sticky jam for a week (or even more), give me a shout! Listing of all previous HCEG Sticky JamsBig thanks to Arkay for providing us the space to keep BT's and the terrific programming job that let's us see previous jams without cluttering this post! The Annex, Home of the streaming audio for this Sticky Jam Player for the streaming audio for this Sticky Jam Update! The streamer doesn't work with the Soundclip type of sites that force another click to hear the music. Krash has generously provided room on his website for folks who only have upload access to that type of site. If you upload to Krash site, I can more easily get you into the streamer. PLEASE read the instructions regarding file names. The streamer, and most similar apps, will choke on a file name that contains spaces, punctuation, or special characters. You'll create a bad link. Eventually there will be filters that will fix things like that, but the streamer is still beta, so you've got to humor it. If you'd like to try it, the uploader is in the Annex Electric Music section. It's the green button upper left. Thread with access to tons of backing tracks! Have Fun! Members milosch
Thanks. Some of the keyboards are played, some programmed. All of the bass on these is programmed. EDIT - Actually, the bass on Step Away might be done by hand Can't remember.
Members nuke_diver
It will be a few days before I can even attempt these. Just listening to them (and not Frets version) right now. First one sounds great very cool laid back vibe too it. I do think...(my ear is one of the worse on the planet) that there might be a key change? If so I might need a hand I love the rhythm on the second one, I would like to be able to get rhythms like that more often but sadly I always fall into my old pattern of playing full chords No not yet I'll try to figure out the key myself...then when I admit defeat I'll send you a PM Milosch

Survivor had the nice sweet clean on the verge of breakup tone. Loved it. I felt like you owned Stepaway. Really made it a finished sounding piece that transported you on a little journey before dropping you back home. Excellent as always!
