December Great Deals Thread - *READTHIS>>>NoSpamAllowed!!<<READTHIS*

Post all hot deals here, but no SPAM. SPAM is for the other thread. This is for insane blow out deals that you find online and want to share with your fellow GASsers.

If you see a blowout on Music123 on Les Pauls for $99, yes, this is where you post that info, etc.

You can post eBay links you see too, but the eBay links have to be Buy It Nows, not something that is at $1 and still has 10 days left in the auction.

The RULES:

1) NO CRAIGSLIST POSTS IN THIS THREAD!

2) NO WHINING ABOUT DISCUSSIONS IN THE THREAD!

Last month we tried a separate discussion thread, but it's just too cumbersome to have a separate thread, so there won't be one anymore.

From my observations, the majority of people like to talk about the deals in order to decide if they want to buy something. There's typically just a few loud members constantly complaining about the discussions. As long as the discussions are related to the item in question, then the discussion can stay in this thread. If someone starts whining and causes a big flame war about "too much talking" they are going to get a temp ban. Everybody participating in any flame war in this thread will get a temp ban. Just behave yourselves! There is more to life than this internet thready thing.

3) All new deals must be posted in RED! Or at least the TITLE OF THE DEAL.

That will help people be able to filter though the pages of discussion and the actual deal posts will pop right out.

4) Your personal SPAM is not allowed in this thread. If you post SPAM in here, you will get a temp ban. Then no one will be able to buy your crappy gear.

I repeat - NO SPAM in this thread. That means NO TRADES, NO OFFERS, no selling or getting rid of your own stuff. There's one SPAM thread already for that stuff.

And as, alway: there is no whining, bitching, complaining or tantrums allowed in this thread. This thread is only for discussing the hot deals. If you missed a hot deal or you hate Musicians Friend, post about it in an outside thread.

If you buy something in the hot deals thread, and you love it, or hate it, or it bit you in the ass, then post a seperate thread about it, this thread ain't for heated discussion.

Only "Guitar Related" in that they carry a lot of CDs and concert DVDs and a lot of them are 25% their usual low prices now. Plus they always have free shipping and no minimum.

Good timing for Christmas or to pick up that CD or DVD you've been thinking about.

Dang. All the big sales before Thanksgiving, followed by a disappointing Black Friday and now nothing. I'm having withdrawals.

It says no whining about discussions. It says nothing about whining about no sales. Right? :p If I find any, I'll post ASAP. Believe me, I'm looking.

Pedal blowout at musictoyz.com

Musictoyz is blowing out some nice pedals. They have two different sections which I don't quite understand, but there is an area with pictures and a list. Some of the pedals are in both places. I was able to order a Jacques DD cup from the list but it wouldn't let me from the picture section and I also ordered a Addrock Hism Scism from the list for $99 but it was $119 in the picture section. So check both places to see if there is anything that interests you. They have some expensive Carl Martin pedals marked down, but some are oos. I also got free shipping.

For those who missed out on the PRS SE singlecuts deal from Sam Ash:

Musicians friend has dropped the price on the Tobacco Sunburst and Vintage Natural hardtails to $399

Music123 still has them at $619

If you call M123 for a price match, you should be able to get them for $348.40

Do not email them - it will only give them time to adjust their price on the site.

Even better than the Fabs IMHO musictoys still has a few Danelectro Mini's for $9.95

WB043 BLOWOUT Danelectro Bacon N Eggs

WB045 BLOWOUT Danelectro Black Coffee

WB044 BLOWOUT Danelectro Chilli Dog

The rest appear to be sold out. I picked up one of those mini pedalboards for $10 on craigslist. Was hoping to fill the last 3 slots with these cheapo mini's for my kid for Christmas. This did the trick. Not a great setup but something for a kid to play around with. Thanks to coolcat2 for posting this.

Sam ash currently has "Black Friday 2" sale going on (Don't bother asking if it makes sense), and they have a few decent deals still going on:

Danelectro 59 Reissue for $249:

And 10 sets of Guitar Research Bass Strings for $12.99 (Not a great brand, but for $14 in change including tax and shipping, It's very hard to pass up):

This is interesting. For the EH The Worm (something I've been eyeballing for a while), on one of the links you gave its $99 (http://musictoyz.com/pbo2.php) but the other link it is $79 (http://www.musictoyz.com/pedalblowout.php). Went to Music123, it was $103, I submitted a price match for $79, and they came but in less than 2 minutes with $74, so I just bought it.. Thanks Coolcat2!

Looks like this site is also having an amp sale of some kind.. not sure how good the deals are but..

http://www.musictoyz.com/ampblowout3.php

Vox Night Train Head New in Box $399 - this goes ofr $499 @ M123 so if you get a PM, you can get it for $377.

Probably some other price match stuff too.

I see the Rocktron Banshee Talkbox is $90 at Musictoyz and $170 @ M123.

For some reason..

this link has cheaper prices..

http://www.musictoyz.com/pbo1.php

than this link..

Is TASCAM AC Adaptor PS PS5 the adapter that goes with the DP-004? It doesn't say on the musictoyz site and is $12 there.

Here's a suggestion that someone posted in a review at Amazon:

"TIP: Purchase a PSP-100 power adaptor. It is made for the Sony Playstation and is identical to the more costly PS-P520 Tascam says you have to buy (i.e., 5V, 2A, correct plug and polarity). I paid $5 for mine, not $30!"

Very Good tip. They do charge shipping. A bit of searching found a PSP power supply for $1.82. Four 5 Star reviews, one of which says it works with the DP-008. About $4.80 with shipping. Not bad.
