He claimed its ash but it looks to me like alder. If the pics are too grainy I can take a couple more. So what do you guys think? Ash or alder? I have an ash strat to compare it with and the grains arent as well defined as the ash strat. Anyways, Im plannin on buying a cheep right handed strat and swapping all the parts onto this body with a voodoo pickguard as a homage to Jimi. I think it will look cool with the upside down neck and bridge. Also, I plan on using the highway one cuz of the fat headstock.
