I have just heard the news and am just crushed. One of my all time favorite guitarist and could ring a tone to make anyone green with envy out of any ax he played. One of the true greats and a real players player-R.I.P

Gary Moore is on a very short list of players that always hit me in the gut when I heard them play.

            RIP.

I remember hearing this on an old mix tape my dad had years ago. It's probably my favourite slow blues song. The masterfully subtle Albert Collins coupled perfectly with the sheer awesome chops of Gary Moore bringing a whole new level of gain! Gary's solo starts at 3.50ish

Two legends no longer with us. RIP.

The man was a true icon of hard rock and face melting blues. And one of the reasons I got a LP. Rest in peace!

Man this is indeed very sad news, they say he died in a hotel room in Spain..."58" although young, still could be of natural causes.

I bumped into him in Brighton less than a year ago - turned into a 30 year old star-struck wreck!

This is just so sad, one of the all time greats
