Hold On, I'm Coming - Sam & Dave
    Fun stuff

Great tune to learn for Stax soul rhythm guitar. Steve Cropper . Simple straight forward but just the bedrock of the tune. It's great to play along with the record.

This Transcribe! software sounds interesting. They have a 30-day free evaluation period. I may give it a whirl in a month or two.

            ...

            Transcribe! is awesome

I can't overstate how much I depend on Transcribe! for learning songs. Being able to loop and slow down any passage makes life so much easier.

Been working on Tesla's "Love Song" for a while. Just picked up an acoustic - working on ELP's "Still, You Turn Me On" with that one.

I downloaded this; maybe I'm stupid, but it isn't quite as simply laid out. I couldnt figure out how to loop stuff haha. Will try it again later.

Last two were "say it aint so" and "gin and money". Both student requests. I don't learn many new covers usually but...

A friend (GREAT singer) wants me to join his current project so I may be learning some old school rock/metal like..

Last two? Probably finally working out all of Pinball Wizard, never messed with the intro part and I just found a video covering the solo in Anyway You Want It which is quite a lot of fun. Not really hard, but Schon has this kind of swing to his fast picking which makes it sound a lot more than it really is.
