Members honeyiscool
1. Chic - Good Times (or Rapper's Delight)[video=youtube;eKl6EZShaaw]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKl6EZShaaw Best bassline ever more like. 2. The Breeders - Cannonball[video=youtube;7AsId-qVIb4] Fun to play with flats on. 3. Pino D'Angio - Ma quale idea[video=youtube;oHLewcdIWlw] Hehe. So greasy. 4. Pixies - Gigantic[video=youtube;LK0CJqMK6f0]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK0CJqMK6f0 The value of being able to repeat the same thing for 4+ minutes! 5. The Dismemberment Plan - What Do You Want Me to Say?[video=youtube;7ge5BoOOhCo] The bass line barely makes any sense but it's so badass.

Members Dr_Kuh
I just had this on my Last.fm and I think the bassline is the best of the whole song: [video=youtube;gzyj3Wxhjr4] But there are dozens of great basslines, e.g. Rush - Working man or Queen - Another one bites the dust

Members cbh5150
Go For Soda-Kim Mitchell. Just about any Rush song. They're not talked about much, mainly due to the "keyboard-era" period, but "Marathon", "Turn the Page" and "Prime Mover" have tremedous bass lines that are very musical. I find myself humming the "Marathon" bass line quite often

Members photon9
Flea's rendition of "If You Want Me To Stay" is pretty awesome, and I don't even really like RHCP that much.

I don't have any family in the Pac NW that I'm aware of Yup - "Show Don't Tell" is a good 'un...Chain Lightning, too. Presto don't do much for me as a Rush fanboy, tho
