Members caveman
Sometimes the good guys win. I do feel sorry for the guy that lost the guitar and what he paid for it. The licensed merchant he bought it from should still bite the butt for it. Were I a rich man I'd help the guy out. As it is, he'll have settle for my sympathy. Frets99
Two interesting notes: Of course it's a tele... And it's nice to read a guitar newstory which doesn't involve violence and mayhem...
Members RaVenCAD
I bet those two new nicks are from hitting some woman upside the head and from where it tried to spontaneously sprout the rear-end of a Flying V.. Teles, so blah, yet so, versatile...

Members photon9
I can't believe he paid almost full asking price for it. This article reminds me. I really need to get my equipment insured, at least write all the serial #s down somewhere safe.

Members RaVenCAD
This story is a word of warning to those of us who might be inclined to buy a used guitar off of Craigslist or eBay. When I droke halfway across TN to trade a Carvin for a Parker, I was terrified that I was getting someone's stolen property. I searched every sort of stolen item list I could find on the web and never got a hit. Still though, there REALLY needs to be some sort of national database of stolen serial numbers set up. Members w00dsy
One of the last times he saw his guitar, Eric Malmberg was telling a friend this was the one. "This is the guitar I will play for the rest of my life,"' he said. Two days later, it was gone. i think i have a suspect.
