I dug Gary Clark Jr. A fresh approach without straying too far. Jeff Beck, while doing his usual bizarre/amazing whammy stuff, wasn't 'bluesy' AT ALL. It WAS a Blues program. Jeff was erratic at best. I would have liked to have seen Jeff play on a Tele relying only on his fingers. I liked Warren Haynes and Susan Tedeschi dueting on the Etta James number. Trombone Shorty also deserves some praise. Jagger was energetic but ........

Now why would they film it there during an election year? I dont know about you but I think Obama missed his true calling...as an (event / entertainment) promoter. He can spin anything and make it come out in his favor even if it's the truth or not

 

 

Every politician in a government that purports to be a democracy is abolutely pandering to get votes.

 

That said, this administration has hosted music at the whitehouse throughout the term, not just this year.
