  • Recommend me a (cheap) Chorus or Flanger

I need some flange (I think). So send me your cheap-slut recommendations. That is all. Thanks.

Used Boss for either/both. Sound great, bullet proof, etc. The Danelectro Hash Browns Flanger I had sounded pretty cool, but it was on the noisey side, IIRC.

I've been enjoying the EHX Electric Mistress for any Flanging. A used one (like mine) is pretty inexpensive.

Thank you folks for your suggestions. I have two boss pedals that I use a lot, so will definitely check that bit of flange out.

Is there a pedal that combines both chorus and flanger in one box?

                  There is. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/amplifiers-effects/ibanez-tone-lok-cf7-chorus-flanger-pedal

It's discontinued now but you can find them used. I have one. It's alright...nothing great but if you want something that gives you both, it'll do.

a good flanger will do both sounds. really, they're just variations on a theme anyway, which is a modulated delay. the main difference is how long the delay is, and that flangers generally have more control over the quality of the delayed signal.

I got a Danelectro Cool Cat Chorus and a Fab Flange. Both good enough for me and cheap as chips.
