  • Jkater's dream guitar. They don't come up very often.

What do you think it is really worth?
One MIA Fender Strat, one Gibson Les Paul, one Martin Acoustic, what more do you need?

I'd say the $750 sounds pretty reasonable.

I've only played two of them, but they were both inspiring, quality pieces.

        Nice! I want one.

I even like the headstock! It works well, as opposed to others, for suhr.

I'm thinking tho 750 is high? At least currently. I would offer 500, if I was a buyer.

It would be cool if we could chip in and get it for him.
                  Besides being a guitar player,
I'm a big fan of the guitar.

I would be very surprised if this thing does better than $300 bucks, because they simply don't bring that much, even If they are the favorite of some......................The REAL Rocker.

That being the case then its a partscaster. I got warmoth necks and bodies so Im guessing
what I build is on par with this so I retract my earlier elsewhere comment that I really want
                      to try one.

Yamaha hits a pretty fine mark on just about all their products, you name it. I'd have to think that these higher end Pacificas are a pretty smooth piece of kit.

My only grip with Warmoth is that they don't level the frets on the necks that they ship out to you, I'm sure Yamaha took care of that though.

Cool but heavily modified. Definitely not the correct pickups and the bridge might be replaced, too.

I hear ya, but of the 5 (maybe 6) Warmoth necks I've installed and/or setup, NONE of them have 'needed' a fret level and most of them didn't 'need' much work don't to the fret ends. The fret installer(s) are pretty good at their jobs... they are well beyond the guys that build Squier Affinity and Bullet necks.
