    Thats how its come down to after owning over 200 guitars.

    1. Neck neck neck.
    Body could be a unfinished block of wood for all I care as long
    as it got good pickups and intonates and oh ya has a tremolo.

    That is all.

          Doesn't look unfinished Quite the opposite.

          And I agree, so long as the neck feels and plays right, the rest can be fixed/dealt with/ignored.

                I play with my wood all the time. It's unfinished, but the more I play with it, the harder and shiner it gets

                  The shininess is from skin oil. Warmoth doesn't finish or oil their rosewood necks.

                        I often hear people speak about different neck sizes. I have 3 guitars that I play every day; one has a Gibson slim taper neck, another has a thicker and rounded -59 neck, and the third has a thin wide Jackson-style neck. There
