Members gpaaib
Can anyone give me any precise info on the original gold logo Charvel (Jackson - made in USA)? I owned one somewhere around the mid to late 80's and absolutely loved it. I have been getting so much into from people regarding them that I don't know what's true and what's not. I've been told that the gold logo Charvels were all prototypes made somewhere between "78" and "82". I have also been told that even though the serial number plate said San Dimas, they where actually made in either Glendora or Ontarial, ca.. I'm saving up to purchase one of these gems (if possible) but don't want to end up with a counterfit. Is there other things I should be looking for? Thanks,Gary

Members Radar-Love
I recall something about a bunch of counterfeit Charvel neckplates with serial numbers hitting the black market back in the day. This could have something to do with that.
