Heading out for a weekend getaway this week, so I'd like to grab a couple new albums for the ride. Also, there's a great record store in one of the towns we're staying in, so maybe I'll pick up some new vinyl.

What have you guys picked up this year that you've really dug?

Any releases on the radar that you're looking forward to?

I'm old and in no way on top of what's coming out. The two that stick out for me and my narrow purview are the new releases by Rush & Van Halen. I never would have imagined I'd be saying that {censored} 30 years later.

Steve Vai's "The Story of Light" is phenomenal. Favorite album of the year so far.

I don't own the album, but from what I've heard of Joe Walsh's "Analog Man" it's awesome. The track "Lucky That Way" is great.

Looking forward to the new Black Country Communion album. I loved their first one, but their second not as much.
