Not sure why they didn't go through with it? It's a fantastic guitar. Comparable to the better PRS SE guitars. Finish doesnt feel thick tho. Light, good fretwork, wilkinson bridge, good balance on strap, unique, satin neck finish (gloss body) and plays great. Needs better pickups though. The pickups ended up being WHHB series Wilkinson. one bridge model and two neck models. The pots say Alpha on them, but they feel pretty cheap. The 5 way is similar. I will be replacing those tonight. Swapped out the pickups last night. Put in some Dimarzio Anni. PAFs in the bridge and neck, and a spare Dimarzio EJ Custom in the middle. Sounds better now. tighter and more refined. The most interesting discovery is the body is some sort of laminate construction.....as in it has a 1/4-3/8" mahogany cap, and alder or basswood body....almost like a semi-hollow construction.
