Members sdgails
I find my hand turns the vol. knob off every 15 sec. I think my ears are telling my brain to make my hand bump the knob. Strats suck.

Ok...I will play.I will play a 17.8lbs Les Paul tonight, but you have to agree to pick up the tab from my fractured right rib cage and bruised bottom forearm, where the sharp edges of this ill-conceived strat rival went wrong. Maaaaaaaaaaaaan, those were made under Fender's license, they are exactly the same body shape... they my be called So-Cals, but they're Strats. Fender Strats even. Members fretless
I've never had that problem . I do sometimes hit the middle pickup with the pick ,though that usually happens on all guitars that have a middle pup , to me . Sometimes the pickup selector as well . No biggie
Members sleewell
my lord, how on earth are you hitting the volume knob when doing the chugga chuggas on a strat??? you got it strung upside down or something? for me, when i palm mute and chugga i am only going for the first 2 maybe 3 strings, and not the type of hand/arm motion that would take me all the way down to hit the volume knob. Members Help!I'maRock!
there are many things i do not enjoy about strats and have expressed those feeling many times on this board. but the volume knob is not in the way. the problem is your sloppy picking technique, not the guitar. Members poolshark
Edit: Momma always said, if you can't say anything nice, stow it. Carry on, Strat lovers and haters.I'm generally the latter, just for record.
