Members AVisme
There's one on ebay. The guy makes this distinction: Up for auction is a custom shop Stars and Stripes Les Paul manufactured in 2002/2003. This guitar was a limited production run by Gibson after the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, with several being donated to various charity groups to raise funds. This particular guitar is #17 of a total production run of approximately 50 guitars. This guitar is not to be confused with the mass produced Gibson Stars and Stripes guitar, which had a red back. This is a true "blue back" stars and stripes LP which was bench made at the Gibson Custom Shop. All of these custom shop guitars have a serial number of 091101 signifying the date of the attack, with the specific guitar number handpainted below. The one in your pic is a red back.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gibson-Custo...-/251191540109
