Members downer01
The ones that supposedly change gauge depending on where you grip it How did/do you like them?
Members bubkus_jones
Yup. They're my favourite pick. Not necessarily for the gauge-changing aspect (though it's useful when swapping between banging out open chords and single-note phrases), I just really like how they feel. Nicer than most other grippy picks. Mostly use the Delrin Grip and Jazz Grips, but have a couple of the "Control" type.
Members downer01
I was thinking of getting a pack of the gel or ultex grips to test out the on spot gauge changing. Seems pretty useful
Members bubkus_jones
Picked up a variety pack one time when I was grabbing some strings, been sold on 'em since.
Members edremy
Yes- I really like them. My teacher convinced me to try to a jazz pick and so I picked up some of the Davas. Very easy to hold and control. I do switch back to a standard size one (usually a surfpick) if I'm going to do a lot of strumming though.
Members GLizard
they are awesome. easy to hold and you can get a totally different sound by turning the pick on its side and playing on the rubber part.
