Yeah, there's something very, very wrong with that pairing.

They're both lefty. I like it.

p.s. Paul McCartney can probably do a Kurt Cobain, that dude has some of the most versatile pipes ever.

People would probably feel better if it were a peer to Grohl and Novoselic... Like Dave Yow or something..

For what it's worth, McCartney once had a very competent scream.

...he's british dude. Not saying I'm a hater, but I just really don't think he's the man for the job here.

Perhaps he's looking to revive the intrigue of the "Paul is dead" era????

I'd pick Eddie Vedder or Chris Cornel for that. Hell, I think Kelly Jones from Stereophonics could sound good singing Nirvana songs, if you need a UK guy to do it. But still, I love Paul, so I'd listen to it.

No disrespect to Sir Paul but that is the most mis-matched grouping I can think of.

                        EDIT:

Either of those are great choices IMO. Hell, I'd be happy with Scott Weiland or another early-mid 90's front man. Billy Corgan could do it justice too. At least should be someone who knew Kurt.

Eh, nobody so far named could do Kurt Cobain right. Nobody.
