  • Dream band lineup

Was discussing this with a friend yesterday so I thought I'd see combos HCEG could come up with. It could be any combination of living or dead musicians that you'd love to see form a band.

To get the ball rolling, here's my dream lineup: I went with living musicians whom I think could make some awesome music if paired together.

    Vocals/guitar - Ian Thornley
    Guitar - Slash
    Guitar/vocals - Izzy Stradlin
    Drums - Dave Grohl
    Bass - John Paul Jones

        Besides being a guitar player,
I'm a big fan of the guitar.
        I love that damn instrument.

Living Musicians only (and in their prime, not as some of them are today)

              Vocals: Paul Rodgers
              Bass/vocals: Glenn Hughes
              Lead/Rhythm Guitar/vocals: Joe Bonamassa
              Rhythm /Lead Guitar/vocals: Billy Gibbons
              Drums: Ginger Baker

In the words of the late great Donald "Duck" Dunn, that band would be "powerful enough to turn goat piss into gasoline."

Given this board, I was expecting every lineup to have Bonamassa in it. But yours is righteous!
