Members scolfax
I've been on this forum for a while, and I always thought it would be cool if you could easily embed tab in the content of a post. I finally got down to creating a site to do that, and recently put it out there: www.TinyLick.com. Here's an example of what you can do with it: I also created a few posts on the Lesson Loft to show it off: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?t=2370285 http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?t=2371661 I'm interested in your feedback. One thing I plan to add for the next release is to create Harmony Central-specific URLs pre-populated with IMG and URL tags. Oh yeah, I also started using Twitter: http://twitter.com/tinylick

Members Sean-Patrick
Can you put something in it that will transpose tab into actual music notation?
Members scolfax
An oddball database error took down the ability to create licks this afternoon. The site is back up now. Whew!
Members BoredGuitarist7
It'd be cool if they were added to a "lick database" and you could add categories. Might be a bit harder to host though.

Members scolfax
Also going to add a button to more easily send licks to Twitter. Do folks around here use Twitter much? There are quite a few guitar players and companies who do. " target="_blank" rel="external nofollow">twitter.com/tinylick

Members scolfax
Thanks everyone for all of the positive vibes! And please keep the feedback coming! Vibrato? ~ Just added vibrato, thanks again for pointing that out! I also added a Twitter button to make it easier to share licks. Coming later this week: HC-formatted links, and an update to the user interface so that you won't have to click as much to create a lick.
Members BoredGuitarist7
. Absolutely nothing there yet, but if I get enough fans I can get a better url for it.Just added vibrato, thanks again for pointing that out!I also added a Twitter button to make it easier to share licks. Members wagdog
This is super cool man. Kudos on the domain name too, great name. Couple of suggestions/questions: Is there an easier way to add the fret #? Seems like a lot of clicking to get to where I need to be. Could you maybe have a dropdown to pick the fret # first? Maybe left click and drag to cycle through faster? I dunno, just some thoughts. Maybe tags would be a good way to categorize licks. You could have some standard ones, like blues, metal, arpeggio, etc... allow up to 5 tags per lick or something.
