Members Elessar [Sly]
I have just put the parts for an MJT Jaguar I've had made into my local workshop and I need some options for it. I am having humbuckers put in, and need options for the switching. I was thinking about getting a coil tap, but what kind of other things can I do with it? having the switches above the scratch plate is fine (they can be lowered) but I tend to not get on with switches placed there (like on the LP). Members MatthewTKK
Series / parallel switching for the coils is a classic. And for a Jag, the strangle switch is standard.
Members Wayne2
I had all kinds of grand visions of turning my Blacktop Jaguar HH into a complex coil splitting series/parallel machine and then actually felt relieved when I opened it up and found each pickup only had two leads. I really enjoyed playing around with the Pawn Shop Mustang at the store though.
Members kit_strong
You could wire it up like the jonny marr jag. 4 way switch, 1 slider working as general high pass filter, and slider 2 is a high pass filter for position 4.

That is a pretty cool idea, any other options I could have for the switch(es)? I'd like something really interesting/ a bit different if possible. Not sure I'll need the filters. Members Elessar [Sly]
For the bottom plate (3 switches) I was thinking of; using one as a pickup selector; one as a coil tap; and one as a killswitch. Still not sure what to do for the top switches. I'm a afraid of knocking them on/off!
