Members wanderoo222
Whats a fair price for a 1.5 year old vox ac15c1 in excellent shape? There's one on the local CL for $425. Hmmmmmm.....
Members IRG
$400ish for a good one. Original tubes, or upgraded?
Members bjcarl
$425 is fair-unless the condition is terrible or there's any indication that the tubes might be shot. I agree with IRG-$400 is ideal, but there isn't a lot of wiggle room in there. Don't expect to ever find a decent one for less than $375 and don't pay more than $425. Members Deadbeat Son
I sold mine for $400 with footswitch. It had a couple of very minor nicks in the tolex and one small snag in the grill-cloth, but was in excellent shape functionally.
Members docjeffrey
Blue book has it listed like this: Excellent condition $375-450 Average condition $225-
Members cratz2
I clicked on the thread thinking, '$375 is great, $400 is good, $425 is OK, $450 if I want to buy it today.' Edit: looking at Doc's comments... I wouldn't plan on ever seeing one for $225 and $275 seems a bit of a stretch.
Members bjcarl
On this one, I'm gonna have to call Blue Book wrong...maybe $350 if it's got some grille cloth tears or tolex rips...
Members docjeffrey
I think the Blue Book has a misprint. It probably should read $325-375 for average. Grading 100% Excellent Average MSR $900. $600 $375 - 450 $225 -
Members cratz2
Oh, and I wasn't trying the heckle you or anything, just if the OP decided to wait to find that $225-250 C1... Well... He might be waiting a very long time, regardless of condition as long as the amp was functional.
