What's Your Strap or Strap Lock Solution For A Heavy Les Paul?

So what's your gigging strap solution for a heavy or valuable Les Paul? I may just stay with Schaller strap locks. I have three guitars with them on it and several nice straps with them and as long as they don't let go, and so far none have (knocks on wood), they seem decent. But then again I'd like to get something wide and permanently mount it on the guitar with a washer but then the strap wouldn't fit in the Gibson case or do you make that work somehow?

What do you do?

***It's a Gibson Traditional Plus

+1. Been using Schallers close to 20 years and have never had one problem. Correct installation is key. With that said, I've been appalled by some of the carelessness and stupidity exhibited by some people when it comes to installing Schallers, then they blame the straplocks when something goes wrong.

I like them because they keep the strap flush with the body and are reliable.
I leave a strap attached to each of my work guitars.
Same here. I've been using these for almost 30 years on all of my guitars.
