Members Hand Amputation
Still looking for that perfect V, but in the meantime I've started to raise an eyebrow to the Explorer model.I think they look cool, but I am afraid they may be too big for me.Thoughts? Members Hozze
Sure do, my favourite guitar. Fantastic balance and fret access if playing standing (which I always do), slightly less comfortable sitting down. I suggest you go try one and find out for yourself. Members TunerAddict
I've always dug the one that The Edge has.
Members kayd_mon
I've never spent much time playing them, but they look cool sometimes. I like the look of korina ones, and they do look nice in black. I'm not a fan of the pointy copies, though. The regular Gibson/Hamer Explorers only for me. Afraid it may be too big as in look funny or be difficult to play? I love the hell out of a clean looking explorer. I'd LOVE to own a Thunderhorse. Members Pine Apple Slim
I like my Epi. Balances well. Plays good standing and sitting too as far as Im concerned. The upper bout kinda feels like an acoustic when sitting.

That's because so very few are available, I hear a fresh batch of Gibson Explorers are due to ship out sometime in March of this year.
Members Bolan
I have 2. The white one is an Epiphone 1984 re-issue and the cherry one is custom; body and neck by Warmoth.
Members GriffontheRock
I have a Pro, slightly smaller body. Balances well standing and isn't bad sitting. Really like the way it sounds.
