Harmony Central has “soft launched” our new mobile experience this past week. While we have done extensive testing, we know that with a community as large as HC that there will be items that surface that will still need to be addressed. What is this between the neck and the fretboard binding?

  • What is this between the neck and the fretboard binding?

    I've got a new LP copy (mahogany neck). Do you see the beige line between the neck and the binding? What is that? It's uneven on each side of the neck (goes from being very thin to a bit wider, to nothing).

    Looks like stain that bled over onto the binding, IMHO.

       Could be either one or a combination of both.

    I think it's a really safe bet that it is some sort of adhesive, i.e. glue.  Don't worry about it.  Play that guitar more.  It's an awesome guitar.  You are so lucky to have one!
