      I like how he never said the words "Gibson" or "Firebird" and instead just summarized the design as a modern take on a "familiar" design.

      Having said that I really like what they did with the firebird shape.  It's a shame that Gibson doesn't do more "modern takes on familiar designs". 


      Oh and the amp does sound killer.  I don't automatically thing Schecter when I hear the word diamond.  If it was "Diamond Series", then I'd say they have a problem.
