Members J Backlund
I left South Dakota for Anaheim, CA. at about 6:00 am. I stopped at Whiskey Pete's Casino at Primm, Nevada and shared my bag of Chex Mix with the parking lot Ravens...then I lost $20 in the slot machines, but not before viewing Bonnie and Clyde's 1934 Ford V8 'Death Car' that was sitting on the playing floor carpet in a protective glass enclosure. It had a lot of bullet holes in it, but Bonnie and Clyde were nowhere to be found. As one would expect, there were lots and lots of pretty musical instruments at the NAMM show. On Thursday night, a prankster thought it would be funny to pull the fire alarm at my hotel, then these guys showed up. Lunch at the Anaheim Convention Center....$17.50 My hotel's parking ramp, very nice indeed! When the show was over, I drove 1350 miles back home. I hope you enjoyed the pictures of my NAMM show trip.
