Members Forrrest
I tuned my guitar yesterday to A-A-E-A-C#-f#The low E up 2.5 steps, and four other strings else up a stepaside from my action going up, I'm wondering if it's going to cause damage to my guitar?is it bad to have left it like that over night? to leave it like that for a week until I can get the truss rod adjusted? this is a Fender Bass VI guitar by the way, one of the new pawn shop reissues. Why are you waiting that long to adjust your truss rod? Do it right now.

Members falseknight
I'd be tempted to change the bottom string for same gauge as the A if you are going to use it permanently.
