                    You are correct. I'm drawing inspiration from it more than trying to copy it, however. Mine will not look exactly like it...I'm borrowing construction techniques.

                      The top needs to be spruce....If you make the top walnut it will sound kind of dull. Unless you are making an electric.

                        Nope, it's electric. I'm intentionally doing some things to kill resonance and feedback.

                        The top and back will both be fairly thick.



                        Fretboard in place. Still have some trimming to do.

                            Honestly, I haven't even made a final decision about the shape yet. 14.5" wide is the only thing that's set now.

                            Open to suggestions. I'm thinking single cut of some sort.
