    trade a 70s Tribute Goldtop for a 70s Tribute Firebird? I have several Les Pauls already... thoughts?

    If you have several Les Pauls and you want to diversify, then sure. Firebirds sure have stage presence.

      definitely try out a firebird first before you commit to a trade.  i really wanted to like playing them, but the ergonomics is all wrong for me, and i found them very awkward and uncomfortable to play.  YMMV, but definitely try one first.

        I'd get him to throw in a C note as your goldtop is worth more.  But ya, go for it.

        I would add another voice to the try before you trade chorus- I have always loved them, then I bought one- figured out in about 20 min that I couldnt stand to play it- the non reverse is better
