Members WoodenDuckMaker
I had my eye on this auction for a Tokai strat copy. I thought maybe I could score it for 5 bills, but it ended for $1,150. Damn! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Tokai-ST-80-GS-Springy-Sound-/360621378070?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=6lrn4OSlcWsgUDioXQ82PbNiEp4%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=ncI love how the headstock label looks almost identical. Are these selling for high dollars because of it's collectability? Are they really as good as american fender strats or is it hyperbole?
Members onelife
They are great guitars - comparable to the first of the JV series from Fender Japan
Members Jkater
One factor for selling well probably are the excellent detailed pictures. I, myself, would feel reassured with buying it untried. Beautiful strat it is. There is also definitely something special about it compared to a run-of-the-mill "standard" Fender strat
