    Can you change it to a knob like on the old PRS guitars or a blade style switch?

      As long as you have the right hole for it, the right parts and the right wiring schematic, you can do whatever you want.

        Changing to a blade switch will require too much woodwork, so I'd pass on that idea.

        I don't know, but you might also have to route an LP a bit to fit a rotary switch in the cavity. If you're dealing with an SG or something similar, then maybe it'll be less complicated.

        It is possible, but it could be costly or difficult to pull off. You might be better served by gett push-pull pots instead.
