    Alex Lifeson is hilarious:

One of the greatest batch of acceptance speeches, ever.  All 3 were brilliant.

Did they at least tell Jan Wenner to eat **************** for making them wait so long?

I laughed so hard, I'm seeing stars! Alex's speech was incredible. Loved Rush for over 3 decades, and it's fantastic to see them in the R&R Hall of Fame. Tons of love to Rush.

Paradoxically, Alex makes a very good point.

I was in tears laughing at Alex's brilliance. That was as nonconformist an acceptance speech as you can get, outside of dropping an F bomb or refusing it altogether.
