Or maybe just not for old guys like me.
I'm in the midst of another gear shuffle. I really want to focus more on playing and less on gear and I'm going to go to two electrics. I am keeping my Sheraton and one other. I recently picked up a Gibson SG faded really cheap in parts and am in the process of putting it together. Now that it's strung up I really like the neck, weight and resonant feel of it.
The body style is just a little aggressive for me visually. I just can't get over the fact that I look like an old guy trying to be young. Do "mature" adults besides Derek Trucks play SGs? I get the "screw what anybody thinks, play what you want" thought process. But, can you name anyone that doesn't play metal, over 40 or so that plays a SG? Even Pete Townshend play a Strat these days.
