Members honeyiscool
Now that's the best idea they've had in years!
Members honeyiscool
Really, charging $199 for finished necks and $169 for finished bodies, and a premium for the American stuff... really, they'll put every aftermarket provider out of business at those prices. I hope this puts a serious crimp in a particular chop shop on eBay who strips tons of Fender guitars and sells the parts for handsome profits. Members kayd_mon
So it looks like Leo's original idea is finally possible - the one where you just buy a new neck instead of refret one. I hope this does well, and they expand to more options.
Members honeyiscool
Yeah, I think they'll probably see how the bread and butter necks and bodies do, and eventually I could see them offering a wider range of necks and bodies. Members Elias Graves
My brother just put a new Warmoth neck on his old J Bass. The old one had frets worn to nubs and I know he would have bought a Fender if he could have.
Members icycool123
I believe its only for the usa market that can purchase the neck and body seperate. As for the stratosphere, its great for the international buyer, as what you pay additional for, you gain in reduced shipping charges and maybe tax?
