Members fuzztone
I got this at a local store yesterday. I wanted one like this since I was a little kid drooling over the pictures of Silvertones in the Sears Catalog. They were $199 then but I had to pay $600 for this one.Do you think it is worth it? Members fuzztone
Thanks! I think it may be hard to find the knob. This guitar came from the son of the original owner. He doesn't know what happened to the knob.
Members jpnyc
If it plays like a $600 guitar I say you should be happy.
Members JRicoC
Well, seeing how $200 in 1965 is roughly equivalent to $1,500 today, I'd say you got a steal. If it were mine I would buff out the scratches and polish the chrome of the pickups. I'm not a Bigsby fan, but I'd polish that up, too ...
Members wankdeplank
Definitely worth it. Those things have some serious mojo as evidenced in the vid.
